Beginning in 1998, I began self-identifying as a bureaucracy artist (i.e., a full-time artist and public administrator whose work is inspired by the combining of these two seemingly disparate fields of practice). From that point on, I have witnessed and played a part in government from the standpoint of an artist and criminal justice administrator.  My conflicting experience inside the legal system has inspired me to assemble these very scenes of justice into visual art about humanity, its survival, and its evolution/devolution inside the institution. “
