Beginning in 1998, I began self-identifying as a bureaucracy artist (i.e., a full-time artist and public administrator whose work is inspired by the combining of these two seemingly disparate fields of practice). From that point on, I have witnessed and played a part in government from the standpoint of an artist and criminal justice administrator. ┬áMy conflicting experience inside the legal system has inspired me to assemble these very scenes of justice into visual art about humanity, its survival, and its evolution/devolution inside the institution. “
